A Clockwork Orange is an interesting film. Sick, bizarre and darkly funny, it's a another wonder from Stanley Kubrick. The story is original, the direction is top-of-the-line, and the acting is brilliant. It tags along in the mind of a psychopath... Full review

Ultimately, that's exactly the sort of thing an excellent movie should do -....Like most young people, Alex loves music....years later, I'm more intrigued by A Clockwork Orange's examination of "goodness" and the schism between generations.....Another fascinating aspect of A Clockwork Orange is its emphasis on youth versus experience.....I like that I was originally captivated by its thematic use of music.... ... Clockwork Orange doesn't tell you what you should think, only leaves you to make up your own mind, and as a result many people find it lacking in any depth, possibly because they are incapable of making up their own mind about things.
Posted on Jan 04 2009 01:10 This film, one of Stanley Kubrick's best, exhibits some of the best visual and musical imaging i have ever seen in a movie.

Stanley Kubrick dissects the nature of violence in this darkly ironic, near-future satire, adapted from Anthony Burgess ' novel, complete with "Nadsat" slang.
Opinion was divided on the meaning of Kubrick 's detached view of this shocking future, but, whether the discord drew the curious or Kubrick 's scathing diagnosis spoke to the chaotic cultural moment, A Clockwork Orange became a hit.
