Mr. Cranky Rates the Movies
This movie contains writing so bad that it forces normal people to curse God for allowing human communication to even exist. That this film won the Palm d'Or at Cannes is a real testament to a couple of things: First, that just about any piece of crap can win at Cannes. ... Full Review

At 90 minutes each, they are all too long, the writing is seldom more than just okay, and occasionally ventures into boring or just plain bad (especially in A Savage Place ). What's worse is the direction in all four movies is flat and lifeless. ... Full Review

Bloody-Disgusting
I can't say that I like the fact that they seem to have strayed so far from from the original, but hopefully they will bring it together in a way that works since it was a short read and they have at least 90 minutes to fill. The short story by Clive Barker was great. ... Full Review
