At 90 minutes each, they are all too long, the writing is seldom more than just okay, and occasionally ventures into boring or just plain bad (especially in A Savage Place ). What's worse is the direction in all four movies is flat and lifeless. ... Full Review

The rest of the story details are barely worth going into-the plot is nothing more than a skeleton on which to drape the movie's ad-lib dialogue. I can't say that I like the fact that they seem to have strayed so far from from the original, but hopefully they will bring it together in a way that works since it was a short read and they have at least 90 minutes to fill. The short story by Clive Barker was great. ... Full Review
