However, doing so would be a crime worse than the multiple murders attempted and achieved in this understated, gently violent and subtly tongue-in-cheek movie.....But the director is not greedy.....Kukunoor is unarguably an adept storyteller.....The plot of '8X10 Tasveer' unravels with such elegant dexterity....But Nagesh Kukunoor's narrative uses sound to create a delectable and subtle distinction between crime and lyricism..... ... Sharmila Tagore is graceful.....The film goes wrong, in fact horribly wrong, in the penultimate 20-25 minutes, which is the lifeline of any suspense-thriller.....Akshay pitches in a sincere performance.....Girish Karnad, Benjamin Gilani, Ananth Mahadevan and Rushaad Rana are perfect in their respective roles.....The film has been shot stylishly and the breath-taking locales of Canada and South Africa only give the film a picture perfect look..... ...
