Gwen Cummings (Sandra Bullock) is a successful New York writer who's everyone's favourite party girl. Life to Gwen and her boyfriend Jasper (Dominic West) is just a fun filled exercise in debauchery; stumbling from bar to night-club to hangover, until,... Full review

I hate movies that have to do with drunken drivers, but this is what it's kind of about. Gwen Cummings (Sandra Bullock) is a New York writer, who gets drunk. She has a boyfriend, Jasper (Dominic West), and she has to... Full review

Seriously this is a great film, but a serious subject tackled in a humerous way. Sandra Bullock is believeable as an addict in this film and that what makes it work so well. The storyline basically is that her booze filled... Full review

Sandra Bullock takes on a more serious role than usual in this light comedy drama set in rehab. Bullock's performance is OK, and the movie is reasonably entertaining, however I would hesitate to recommend this film too highly, even if... Full review

The entire cast is wonderful Viggo Mortensen, Elisabeth Perkins and Dominc West very different characters whose very differences form an impact. Sandra Bullock is utterly convincing as the party girl, whose wild ways harbour the deep emotional pain she is desperately trying to forget. ... Full Review

Days shows two important thingsacting strength and the willingness to play down her looks (she comes off positively dowdy through most of the film)that indicate there's much more to Sandra Bullock than most of her career choices have indicated. West plays deeply shallow with a charm that makes it impossible to truly dislike the character, though clearly he's a twit. ... Full Review

Now, I don't have kids-Hell, I don't have a wife-and I know I wouldn't be a perfect parent, and I'd make mistakes like any parent does-but I have to believe that, even on my worst days, I wouldn't take my 6-year old child to see Saving Private Ryan or Schindler's List or 28 Days on a Saturday night, any night of the week or any day of the week, for that matter. ... Verdict: Big-yuks comedy and social conscience drama don't sit well together and this is movie with a serious identity problem. Steve Buscemi's criminally wasted in a near cameo as Bullock's counsellor, but Thomas manages to milk every predictable laugh from the rest of the ensemble. ... Full Review
