Invest your time in this film to see great actors and a great director work magic. Don't just take my word for it; look at the 27 nominations and 20 wins it took. It takes a little more work than most movie goers are used to, but it is worth it. ... Full Review

It looks gorgeous: the transfer to DVD living up to how the film has the slightly sepia tone of a Western. ... Full Review

We hear those words often enough in the remarkable 21 Grams....we suspect the film will repudiate the notion.....Nobody is going to call this a "feel-good" movie --....The movie is, after all, overwhelmingly concerned with death.....you won't find better performances anywhere --.... ... Full Review

This is especially true in the plotting: the time structure jumps back and forth, and its questionable just how much the film gains from the stunt. Yes, Irritu and Arriagas virtuoso riffing will snag them another Hollywood gig as surely as it sparks debate. ... Full Review
