If you are looking for a movie to see that won't use any of your brain, will keep you entertained, and you like tricked out cars drenched in neon then 2 Fast 2 Furious won't disappoint. With an okay performance by rapper, Ludacris, playing Tej, one of O'Conner's good friends, a horrible performance by Customs Agent Markham (James Remar), and some bad dialogue the rest of the movie comes together well. ... Directed with a solid and comfortable sense for the material, 2 Fast 2 Furious is just what you expect it to be. Walker is more smug and less edgy this time, which lets the tension down a tad ... Full Review

Directed with a solid and comfortable sense for the material, 2 Fast 2 Furious is just what you expect it to be. There may be one too many damn and yeah bro in the script; besides the plot may not win any awards, but theres plenty of tension and thrills throughout the races and chases. ... Full Review

Yes, the cars were more impressive and numerous than the first film.....Even dangling a Mitsubishi Evo VII, Nissan Skyline and vintage Camaro Z/28 wasn´t enough for me to love this film.....this film was well below him and the final product is not indicative of his talent....is perhaps the best looking film of the trilogy.....A few others were entertaining and Eva Mendes is stunning..... ... Director John Singleton wisely recognises the cars are the true stars, trimming down character and plot to an absolute minimum lest they interfere with the frenetic scenes of street racing, tag-team pursuit and freeway carnage. he coos when Eva Mendes turns up), but his habit of merely describing what's happening on screen is annoying. ... Paul Walker (This new generation's Keanu) was cool.....leaving poor ole Paul Walker and a few cool cars to take on the world of the franchise.....What follows is a dead end story, lifted only by some spectacular car stunts and action..... ... Full Review

The film proper is comprised of a series of elegant, SF-looking, beautifully stunt-pumped, and edited races, one after another. Hooray for joyous lunacy and for Singletons obvious affection for Tyrese (with whom he worked to terrific effect on Baby Boy [2001]). ... Full Review

As parolee Rome Pierce, seeming sidekick to Paul Walkers bland blondie hero in 2 Fast 2 Furious , hes easily the most entertaining object in sight. They say they grew up and played in the dirt together, but theyre from different planets, which makes their friendship all the more charming (if implausible). ... Full Review
