1942: A Love Story, stays unfaithful to its name. Its neither a love story, nor does it contain the factual underpinnings surrounding the events of 1942. But I digress. If those were the only two shortcomings (albeit major) of the... Read more at imdb.com

this film is more like the other manisha film 'Dil Se'. But the ending is different, manisha and he dad are revolutionists and anil kapoor has taken a liking to manisha. She starts to like him aswell and when he finds out about them, he wants to marry her and join them in their task. But his father is with the police and the british and snitches on them to which manisha's father dies. Jackie comes into the scene and helps manisha to complte her dads wishes. Anil then finds them and helps them in their task. They have to kill the british captain in order for a free life, so with anil on the noose the whole village uproars and a big fight starts. Jackie then kills the english captain and many people start joining into the revolution. Manisha and anil get to be together. Some very famous tunes in here. A good watch
