I've been on the edge of my seat for the last hour and a half! Loved the story line, Bruce is, as usual, superb (even when playing an ugly old drunk), and the scenes looked so REAL.... real city, real traffic,... Full review

I actually saw this movie on the USA network. My husband and I never heard of it, but we decided to watch since there was nothing else on. We loved it!... Full review

This movie was great. I went in thinking that it was going to be ok but I was proven wrong. I really enjoyed the direction of the movie and the acting was good too. Some parts had me on edge but... Full review

This is another movie that shows the brilliance of stretching a simple plot and making it entertaining. Picture this: You're just doing a simple favor for a friend. Escort a man safely across a 16 blocks to testify in court. I... Full review

The movie really isn't all that original, but it is watchable and somewhat engaging at times. Still, the whole time you are wondering why they don't just get in a cab, put their heads down and take it to the court... Full review

I never thought my decent into mental hell would only take 16 Blocks. Normally, I would immensely enjoy any flic with Bruce Willis, especially the spectacular movie Striking Distance which is filmed in Pittsburgh; however, I felt like the first victim... Full review

I thought this film was a decent fast paced action thriller. Bruce Willis, Mos Def, and David Morse give good performances. The pairing between Willis and Def I thought was strange at first. But after seeing it they both did very... Full review

This film has more laughs than you would think based on the serious looking posters. Willis and Def have great chemistry and comedic timing throughout. Your boy Bruce Willis plays an aging beat detective with a fairly severe drinking problem. ... Full Review

With 16 Blocks, he has the armour for a beefy and yet offbeat action, in which Mos Def plays the slightly wacky character (think a hip, black machine gun mouth Mel Gibson) whose life hangs by a thread - and Jack Mosley (Bruce Willis) holds the thread in his shaky, fumbling, drink stained hands. ... It's a movie in mid-life crisis; neither the wham-bam actioner the director has proved adept at, nor the serious character piece it sometimes strains to be. The action sequences are adept and the leads likeable and as a join-the-dots city chase the film passes the time while you pass the popcorn (and, let's face it, some of us will happily watch Willis in anything). ... A minor hit last summer, this action film is mildly entertaining but fails to really impress. One problem I had with the film is that I could never quite suspend my disbelief. Jack Mosley (Bruce Willis) is a burnt out cop working in NYC. ... Full Review
