Lame, awful, pathetic

I'm so sick of big Hollywood movies that take a decent idea and turn it into a cartoonish, over-the-top mess totally devoid of any semblence of reality. A freakin' waste of time. DeNiro and Edward Burns should have known better when... Full review
Unfair Billings And An Underpublized Film

This a rough, edgy film but the interesting characters make it entertaining for the full two hours. For some reason, I don't believe this film got a lot of publicity.Karol Roder doesn't get any billing but he's as much a... Full review

15 Minutes is an action packed, stylish, in your face type of a movie with some nice twists and good acting. The camera work and editing is frantic and the characters, as unlikable as they are, ring true. DeNiro is brilliant,... Full review

There is a lot of subplot in this movie that doesn't make any sense (Especially scenes with the rookie cop in it). Basically the whole movie become brain dead when Denio left his door open for the bad guys to go... Full review

A good and original thriller. The acting is fine, the plot is insane but you come to wonder if something like that could happen with the trash TV we're fed today. Good film, but doesn't stand repeated viewings too well.... Full review

Wow. This movie was GOOD. The acting by the Eastern Europeans is at times a little ugh, but overall, very impressive. DeNiro is absolutely fantastic. The portrayal of the Eastern Europeans and the fight between the Chech (aka Russian hater) and... Full review

Ideas far outstrip realisation in 15 Minutes. Relentless pacing and solid performances - De Niro phones in his New York cop part but he's still better than most - make this far from dull but it's also too far from convincing in the finer details to make the grade. ... Full Review

Minutes hasn't made a huge leap forward in my estimations but this release makes it a much more interesting experience and it's worth another visit for anyone who wasn't that impressed on first look. Unfortunately scenes like the one in which the killers sit down at Planet Hollywood during the broadcast with the expectation they'll be received as celebrities gives it Natural Born Killers knee-jerk but not enough cogent thesis to make Herzfeld's concerns hit the mark. ... An honest and natural actor, Burns gives a weary Gen-X spin to the dog-eared scenes he's in (he becomes, I think, the 34,492nd movie cop to plunk his badge on the captain's desk in disgust upon being suspended).....As if knowing how cardboard the movie is, he barely commits himself, except for a ridiculous scene in which he's tied to a chair....Edward Burns, a gifted writer-director ( The Brothers McMullen, She's the One ) gradually earning a name as an actor ( Saving Private Ryan ), is probably the best re ... We give 15 Minutes 3 stars, but it is a very strong 3 stars. This is the type of role where you cant really fully appreciate De Niro's skills because he can do this type of role in his sleep. ... Full Review
