Biography Kiran Kumar is a Mumbai-based actor. He has worked in many Bollywood films, but is more famous as a television actor. Kiran Kumar is a Kashmiri by birth and claims his lineage to the Kashmiri royal family . He was schooled at a boarding school in Indore. He enrolled at R. D. National College in Bandra, Mumbai, but later joined the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune. Sunil Mehta's Prem Kishan was his first television serial.
