Anita Briem Biography

Anita Briem (born 29 May 1982) is an Icelandic actress. She has appeared in Icelandic films, and in international productions such as The Tudors in which she portrayed King Henry VIII`s third queen Jane Seymour, and Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008). It has been revealed the Briem has quit her role as Jane Seymour in The Tudors. The role will now be portrayed by Annabelle Wallis Briem is the daughter of drummer Gunnlaugur Briem of Mezzoforte and vocalist Erna Þórarinsdóttir. She started acting when she was nine at the National Theatre of Iceland. In 2004, she graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
