Alexandrea "Alex" Borstein (pronounced /ˈbɔrstiːn/; born February 15, 1973), also known as "a.bo", is an Emmy- and Screen Actors Guild Award-nominated American actress, singer, voice actress, writer and comedian. She is best known for her roles on the FOX sketch comedy series MADtv and as Lois Griffin in the animated series Family Guy.
